Format
We hold the meetings in person, usually in VLF seminar room B. If you wish to participate or present, but are not yet in the mailing list, please get in touch with the organizers: Wei Bi and Marina Sanchez del Villar, so that we can add you to the group and mailing list.
Objective
The purpose of the working group is for students, postdocs, our faculty, and visitors to present their work and get feedback. You can present papers that are almost ready to be circulated, as well as preliminary work/ideas. If you are working on an interesting problem and you are stuck, you can present that and see if after the seminar you have a better idea on how to finish up your project. If you have a more preliminary idea, there is the option to present for half an hour: a motivated research idea, literature review, and a modelling attempt should be a sufficient basis for a fruitful discussion.
Schedule
The working group meets on Tuesdays at 14:00-15:00, same time as the Micro seminar series (only when there are no conflicts). The weeks of the staff meeting/AC the group may meet on another day, if there is a speaker for this extra slot. A detailed schedule is provided below; it will be updated over time, so come back to get the latest information. The events are also present in the departmental calendar.
