I am a Professor of Economics at the University of Duisburg-Essen. After receiving my PhD from CERGE-EI in Prague in 2007, I spent several years at the University of Bonn serving first as a Post-doc and subsequently as a Junior Professor.
My research focuses on microeconomic theory, industrial organization, and applied microeconomics. I am particularly interested in mechanism design, R&D and innovation, and climate cooperation.
