GJLS replication materials

This page contains the files needed to replicate the results in the latest versions of the following two papers:

Gagnon, Etienne, David Lopez-Salido, and Benjamin Johannsen (2016). "Understanding the New Normal: The Role of Demographics," Finance and Economics Discussion Series no. 2016-080, Federal Reserve Board, Washington, D.C.

Gagnon, Etienne, David Lopez-Salido, and Benjamin Johannsen (2020). "Supply-Side Effects of Pandemic Mortality: Insights from an Overlapping-Generation Model," Finance and Economics Discussion Series no. 2020-065, Federal Reserve Board, Washington, D.C.

We make available two versions of the replication files. The first version (0.63 GBs) only includes the main data and model files; the programs must be run to create all filtered data and model simulations. The second version (1.72 GBs) also includes the filtered demographic data and the simulation results created when the programs are executed.
