East Tennessee Chinese School
East Tennessee Chinese School is a weekend school established in the early 1990s by a group of ETCA memebers who wanted to provide their children an opportunity to learn the Chinese language. The school is organized and taught by parent volunteers. For more than a decade, the number of students and volunteers, as well as parent support for the school has grown steadily. Today the Chinese school has more than 80 students enrolled, and meets every Sunday afternoon for two hours at the Pellissippi State Technical Community College.
