The international project ESTIC is cooperational project between Estonia and Iceland. The name ESTIC comes from the first letters of the names of the country. The project started on 1 October 2013 and will finished on 31 March 2015.

The main focus of the project is around the topic sustainability. Besides protection of nature and environmentally-friendly lifestyle we promote the understanding of democracy and human rights, welfare and health, cultural diversity and joy of creativity.

We will focus on three main ares:

  1. sustainable school policy
  2. creating study materials on Estonian and Icelandic nature
  3. developing fields of study
The cooperation between our schools includes chances to build up friendships between the participants and therefore expand the limits of the project.

The project has been funded with support from the EEA and Norway grants
