A grant making charity which preserves its permanent endowment and distributes its income by way of grants to organisations who meet the object of the Charity. Object The object of the Charity is the education and advancement in life of young people under the age of 25 years who are in need of assistance so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society, with a preference for those who, in the opinion of the Trustees, are in need of help by reason of being temporarily or permanently deprived of normal parental care or who are otherwise disadvantaged. Grants Grant applications are considered by the Trustees quarterly in February, May, August and November. Applications made before the first day of the month in which a meeting is held will be considered at that meeting. The Trustees' decision upon any application is made in their absolute discretion and without giving any reason. The Trustees make grants totaling about £300,000 each year. Applications Grant applications can be made at any time and for any amount. Applications must be made by e-mail on the form that can be found by clicking on the link below.
