Beginning with joining a group of watercolorists in Wyoming, Ohio after retiring, Sherry has been a member of the Art Circle for 12 years.  For over 10 years she has taken watercolor classes through the Art Academy of Cincinnati and has also spent summers studying art at the Chautauqua Institute in New York.

Sherry started painting in the fifth grade and continued on through college, though after beginning work as a teacher in special education (which she did for over 15 years), the most art Sherry did was in working with her students or when creating bulletin boards.

She has exhibited her paintings in such venues as the Carnegie on Tusculum, the Harvest Home Festival, the Wyoming Art Show, the Middletown Art Show, Viewpoint, Xavier University, and Harvest Home and at the Essex Art Walks.

Sherry and her husband, Brett, live in Delhi and have two adult sons, Ross and Hunter, and a grandson, Reece Henry.

She received her Bachelor of Education from Ohio University (where she minored in art) and is a Reading Specialist with a Master’s Degree from Xavier University.

Currently she is on the Board of the Assistance League of Greater Cincinnati as Recording Secretary and in her spare time enjoys tennis, rug hooking, yoga, baby sitting, traveling, gardening, and golf.
