I'm an Assistant Professor of Economics and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University (Heinz College). My research interests lie at the intersection of Urban, Energy and Environmental Economics, and Economic History. My work focuses on estimating and understanding the effects of energy infrastructure and environmental regulations on local development, air pollution and health since the age of electrification in the United States. I am also working on the impact of climate change on air pollution.
