European Robotics League - Emergency Robots
Season 2020-2021

Local Tournament
La Spezia, Italy
Date: July 2021

As it is known, we are living a special period in the world due to the COVID-19 spreading.

Due to the current situation, we have decided to postpone the competition to July 2021.

New dates for registration will be announced at a later stage.

The European Robotics League is an innovative concept for robot competitions which stems from its predecessors, the euRathlon and RoCKIn competitions, and focuses on tasks that emergency response robots execute in a realistic emergency environment. The ERL is composed of multiple "Local tournaments", held in different locations across Europe, with certified test beds, and a few competitions as part of "Major tournaments". Teams participate in a minimum of two tournaments (Local and/or Major) per year and get scores based on their performance. Scores of the best two performances in tournaments for each team are added and teams are ranked based on their cumulative score. Prizes for the top teams are awarded during the next year’s European Robotics Forum (ERF).

We are pleased to announce the third Local Tournament on the ERL Emergency Robots (ERL-ER) Season 2020-2021, to be held between 18-24 July 2020 at the NATO STO Centre for Maritime Research and Experimentation, La Spezia, Italy. It will include land and underwater robots working in an outdoor realistic environment.
