HAVE YOU PACKED YET?

PACKING FOR SURVIVAL

JESUS TOLD HIS FOLLOWERS TO, "Get ready for trouble. Look to what you’ll need; there are difficult times ahead. Take your money and a traveler’s bag. And if you don’t have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one!"Luke 22:36 The Message &  NLT DURING MY LIFE EXPERIENCE I'VE FOUND THAT WE MUST BE PREPARED FOR DISASTER AT ALL TIMES.  MANY TIMES DISASTER STRIKES WITH NO WARNING AND NO TIME TO PREPARE.

THE 2015 EARTHQUAKES IN NEPAL ARE A GOOD EXAMPLE. IF THE PEOPLE THERE HAD THE PACKS LISTED BELOW THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER ABLE TO DEAL WITH THE RESULTS OF THE QUAKES.

EVERYONE NEEDS TWO (2) PACKS.  AN EMERGENCY PACK,  DESIGNED TO HELP YOU SURVIVE FOR THREE (3) DAYS UNTIL HELP ARRIVES. THIS

PACK SHOULD BE CARRIED WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES.   YOU ALSO, NEED

A SURVIVAL PACK SOMETIMES CALLED A  GO PACK  OR BUG OUT BAG.

THIS PACK IS DESIGNED TO HELP YOU GET THROUGH THE FIRST

THREE (3) DAYS AFTER AN EMERGENCY, AND SURVIVE INDEFINITELY IF

THE SOCIAL SYSTEM TOTALLY BREAKS DOWN.  IT SHOULD BE PLACED

WHERE YOU CAN GET TO IT QUICKLY IF NEEDED.

YOU DON'T WANT TO WAIT UNTIL THERE IS AN IMPENDING

EMERGENCY TO PUT THESE PACKS TOGETHER.  YOU NEED TO

ASSEMBLE THESE PACKS AND BEGIN USING THEM AS SOON AS

POSSIBLE.

QUESTION: ARE YOU PACKED AND READY FOR AN EMERGENCY?  IT

COULD COME WHEN YOU LEAST EXPECT IT.

HERE  IS A LIST OF THE THINGS WE HAVE FOUND USEFUL TO HAVE IN

AN EMERGENCY AND/OR SURVIVAL PACK.  YOU MAY NEED TO ADJUST

THE LIST TO MEET YOUR PERSONAL OR CULTURAL NEEDS.
