Saturday of the Tenth Week in Ordinary Time: Reconciliation
Readings for Mass
All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation (NRSV, 2 Corinthians 5:18).
Let us pray.
Father, in your one act that is your being, you beget your Word, breathe forth the Holy Spirit, create the world and sanctify it, reconciling all things to your self. Every created moment is saving and reconciling. Salvation and reconciliation, always present through the Word in the power of the Holy Spirit, is made visible and tangible through the Word made flesh, our Lord Jesus Christ, so that all are saved and reconciled through him.
May we accept the forgiveness of our sins and reconciliation with you, Father, offered to all at every moment. Transformed by this gift, may we go out to all whom we have offended and all who have sinned against us, in the same one act of reconciliation, that all, Father, may be one in you.
Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
