Let us pray,

Father, the one who sits upon the throne, you promise to be always with us and to wipe away all of our tears.  Even when we turn away in sin, you are there through your Word offering us renewed life in the Holy Spirit.  In every moment you call us to let go of what we have become in order that we may become something truly new.

Father, you are not only always with us in our present moment; you are also our only Future ever calling us to yourself.  May we be faithful to you as you are to us.

Through Christ our Lord.  Amen
