Eric Esteves is an educator, volunteer, entrepreneur, blogger, mentor, photographer, poet, super techie, and hip-hop junkie. Eric is a Program Director in the Boston Public School's TechBoston department, a unit within the Office of Instructional and Information Technology. Eric wears several hats for the district; ranging from Internet safety to professional development, instructional technology integration projects to service learning and student engagement. Prior to joining the school district, he served as project manager for CELT (Center for Educational Leadership & Technology), an technology planning, consulting and strategy firm, where his responsibilities included knowledge management, professional development, and project management office. Eric also teaches technology literacy classes for adult learners and runs a small business, The Esteves Group, which provides technology planning and assessment services for small businesses and non-profit organizations. Eric earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Management Information Systems and a M.S. in Information Systems; both from Northeastern University.
