Difficulty: ***** medium

Ascent: 760m

Climbing time: 2h 15min

Main difficulties: high rocky steps in the central part.

To avoid: during the warmest hours and by families with kids (<10 years old) or by people with problems with their leg joints.

Please follow the red&white marks during the first 20 minutes in order to have a comfortable ascent.

Climbing time: 1h 45min

(cablecar “Malcesine – Monte Baldo” upper station 1753m – Rifugio Telegrafo 2147m)

Difficulty: ***** medium/high

Ascent: 600m

Climbing time: 4h / 5h

Main difficulties: long hike along Monte Baldo ridge; there are no steep parts, but a few parts are exposed.

To avoid: by families with kids and when not trained.

Path CAI #654 (Val delle Nogare 1100m – Rifugio Telegrafo 2147m)

Difficulty: ***** medium/high

Ascent: 1050m

Climbing time: 2h 45min / 3h

Main difficulties: exposed and steep parts along the “Forcellin” detour.

To avoid: the “Forcellin” detour for families with kids.

Difficulty: ***** high

Ascent: 2100m

Climbing time: 6h

Main difficulties: long ascent from Lake Garda to the highest mountain hut of Monte Baldo.

It is a good idea to think about spending the night at the Rifugio Telegrafo.

(“Due Pozze” 1298m - Baito Turri/Ex Rifugio Mondini 1554m - Rifugio Telegrafo 2147m)

Ascent: 950m

Climbing time: 3h 30min / 4h

Main difficulties: none.

To avoid: long ascent to Rifugio Telegrafo, but with wonderful views over Lake Garda.

Path CAI #655 + DIFFERENT OPTIONS (Prada 995m – Rifugio Telegrafo 2147m)

Difficulty: ***** medium/high

Ascent: 1200m

Climbing time: 4h / 5h

Main difficulties: orientation at the beginng and during the first part of the hike; following path 655 (it departs among the houses below the old lift) you can reach “Baiti di Ortigara”. From there you can get to Rifugio Telegrafo with different paths. We suggest to have a good hiking map of the area.
