Epiphany offers a diversity of worship opportunities, designed to speak to the diversity of people seeking to grow in faith and worship together. Holy Communion is celebrated frequently at all services. All are welcome!
What is your part in the mission of God in the world today? The Mission worship service is held Sunday mornings at 9:30 in the Worship Space, and is constructed primarily to connect with young men and women in their 20's and 30's, though anyone is certainly welcome. The service is informal. The music is current. The message is Biblically-based, embracing the mystery of God and the hopes, dreams, and issues of young men and women today.
Epiphany offers three distinct opportunities for traditional worship each week.
Sunday, 8 am
A traditional contemplative Lutheran liturgy done simply and reverently in an intimate community of faith.
Sunday, 10:45 am
A full expression of traditional Lutheran liturgy, complete with a chancel choir, cantor, children's choir on occasion, lectionary readings, and a welcoming atmosphere. We embrace the mystery and awesomeness of our loving God shared in history with God's people and in our lives.
Wednesday, 6:30 pm
A simple communion service where God's Word and Sacraments are celebrated in the chapel. There is no liturgy and there is no standing up and sitting down. Holy Communion is brought to everyone in their seats. This service has been especially helpful for people with mobility problems and those who may have work scheduled on Sundays.
Worship done simply using simple, every day language. This worship service is designed to be accessible to those with developmental disabilities, but all are welcome. We meet Wednesday mornings at 11 am in the worship space. Feel free to bring a lunch and join us for food and fellowship in the parlor following worship.
