Every acolyte will be appointed to a house.  The four houses are named for the four gospel writers: St. Matthew, St. Mark, St. Luke and St. John.  For a good description of the symbols used for the "evangelists" you can look at http://www.sacred-texts.com/lcr/fsca/fsca13.htm .  A house will all work together in helping one another and they will serve together on assigned festival Sundays.  Every acolyte will have the opportunity to win or lose points for their house.  At the end of the year, the team with the most points will be announced at the Spring Dinner.  Examples of point awards are shown but the Pastor or  the Prior may award or take away points at their discretion.

At the end of the year, members of the house with the highest score will win a special award.  A most valuable acolyte award  will be given to the high scoring acolyte of each team and an award will be given to the most valuable acolyte of the order.
