How to become a member

Google hosts our Web site, maintains our security and ensures our privacy. To become a registered member of the EPA RTP Retirees Group and have access the members-only Web site, you need to have a Google Account If you don't have a Google account, it's free and easy to set one up.

Read the instructions below that match your situation:

If you don't have a Google account, read paragraph 3.

If you are “signed in” to your Google account now, read paragraph 1.

If you are notsigned in” to your Google Account now, read paragraph 2.


1 – Signed in to your Google Account? If yes, when you click on the link to the EPA RTP Retirees Group members-only Web site below, you will see a brief message that starts with “You need permission to access this item”. Click on the Request Access button to automatically send an E-mail share request to the web managers. We try to respond to requests within 24 hours.

2 – Not signed in to your Google Account? If you are not signed in, when you click on the link to the EPA RTP Retirees Group members-only Web site below, you will go to the Google Sign In page. Enter your Google Account ID and Password and click the blue Sign In button. you will see a brief message that starts with “You need permission to access this item”. Click on the Request Access button to automatically send an E-mail request to the web managers. We try to respond to requests within 24 hours.

3 – Need to setup a Google Account? When you click on the Google New Account link below you will see the required form. You must enter your E-mail address (this will be your user ID), password (whatever you want it to be), and birthday. (HINT: If you don't have or want a Google “gmail” address, click on the words “I prefer to use my current email address” under the user ID box, and then enter your E-mail address.) Enter the verification word (provided on the page in a graphic font), review and check the box indicating “I agree to Google Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.” (NOTE: the words “Terms of Service” and “Privacy Policy” are links to those documents. You should read them.) Then Click on the “Create my Account” button. Once you have established your Google Account, return to this page and follow instruction 1 or 2 above, whichever applies.
