2019 NA Envirothon

The Envirothon competition is the largest high school environmental education competition in North America. Teams from across the US, Canada and even China participate in the Envirothon program. Each summer, local Envirothon programs (such as the NC Envirothon) will send their top team to compete against teams from across North America (and now China) at the North American Envirothon competition, a almost week-long event testing the best of the best.

Each year the North American Envirothon event is hosted by a participating state or Canadian Providence, rotating across North America. In 2019 North Carolina will again play host to the event!

The competition will be located in Raleigh, NC; based in and around the campus of NC State University, where hundreds of students, teachers and
volunteers will experience NC and learn why Raleigh AND North Carolina are ranked as one of the top places to live, study and work.

The primary coordination and leadership for the 2019 Envirothon is provided by the North Carolina Envirothon committee and its parent organization, the NC Association of Soil and Water Conservation Districts.
