Welcome to the Club!  Here's where we'll organize our book clubs.  You should find a link to each of the seven books you've chosen in the column to your left.

Book Club Phase One: Organize your groups, create a reading schedule, keep a reading log.

Book Club Phase Two: Time to start answering the question: how is your book a good example of American literature?  To do this, divide the texts on the syllabus that we've read so far ("Rip," "Young Goodman Brown," "Revolt of Mother," etc.) amongst your group members.  For each text you're assigned, you should start entering notes on the connections - - in style, theme, character, setting, conflict, etc. - - you see between your text and the syllabus text.
