Photoshop Express

Photo Shop Express logo

I produced my very first edited photos using Adobe Photoshop Express!

Acquiring confidence with a new technology tool isn't always easy, but Adobe Photoshop Express was so amazingly simple that creating my Image Project was a breeze! Go to my WordPress blog where I've explained in detail how I edited each picture using Adobe Photoshop Express.

Photoshop Express is the FREE entry level web-based version of Adobe Photoshop released in 2008. It's designed with the techno-neophyte in mind. The site is simple, uncluttered, and easy to navigate. You have the option to upload photos from your computer files without the fuss of creating an account or signing in, but you can create a free account which will allow you to save your photos on the site. Adobe Photoshop Express can be used to directly edit photos on blogs and social networking sites, so that users do not have to download or upload images. The application currently works with sites such as FacebookFlickrPicasa and Photobucket (Wikipedia). The editing tools are easy to use for the beginner, but more experienced photo editors will prefer the original Adobe Photoshop program.

  • Here's a link to some Lynda.com tutorials that I used.
  • Here's a link to a series of four Palm Breeze Cafe tutorials on YouTube that I checked out too:1,2,3,4

You will need an ODU password to access Lynda.com. The guys at Palm Breeze Cafe are a little corny, but thorough. Take your pick.
