The Sunspot project was designed to monitor local garden conditions, garden location, and use preferences to select suitable plants. The Internet connected device detected sunlight, moisture, and temperature over a period of time and then uploaded these to a users computer. A website was used to assess the data and plant choices.
This project was conducted by David Godfery, Erynne Ligeski, Dan Parker, and Steve Palasek in their 3rd year of the Product Design and Manufacturing program at GVSU.
