  • Multi View Orthgraphic drawings
  • Assembly drawing with exploded and collapsed view
  • Assembly Rendering

Goals & Objectives:

After completing this lesson you will know how to assemble drawings for presentation that include technical drawing views, annotations, and rendered images. The Presentation drawings will consist of Part model drawings and the Exploded Assembly drawings. Produce a draft hardcopy for review with instructor before revising and producing the final PDF and eDrawings.

Methods and Procedures:

All drawings will be based on the drawing template and sheet formats developed earlier. Drawings should show the appropriate drawing views as needed along with annotations, notes, titleblock info, and tables as required. Produce a draft print for review before revising and producing a final PDF.
 

    Part Drawings:

    Open all part model files first, then for each, use the command File: New drawing from Part.
  • Use the ANSI drawing template, B size sheet
  • Produce appropriate ortho views and anntoations to scale
  • Include ISO shaded view or hidden line

    Assembly Drawings:

    Open the assembly model file first, then use the command File: New drawing from Assembly.
  • Use the ANSI drawing template, B size sheet
  • Produce appropriate ISO view with anntoations to scale, BOM, and Hole Table
  • Include ISO shaded view or hidden line
