About Me

My name is Aaron Norris and I am an Electrical Engineering Undergraduate with a minor in Computer Science at Brigham Young University. I love building things with my bare hands. In my spare time I work on little projects around the house with the wife and tinker with simple circuits. Many of the things that you will find on the site were built incorporating salvaged parts. I hope you enjoy a taste of what some education, hard work, and liberal amounts of luck can produce.

My Hackaday profile can be found at: http://hackaday.io/hacker/1351

I am currently looking for work, as soon I will be graduating. If you are hiring, and need a resume, look here.

Also, any feedback on the website or on projects would be wonderful. I'm always looking to make things easier and more enjoyable to use.

My Current Project (BIG)

I have begun to build Randall Monroe's "New Pet", an autonomous hamster ball AI project. This is going to take quite a while to complete, as it is a complex system that spans multiple disciplines. There is a lot that I am learning as I go, and it has all been documented here. I expect that this will be completed sometime in the next year.

My Current Projects (smaller-ish)

I have been working on a project for a co-worker for his disabled son. I've hit some snags, and learned a great deal. You can read about that here.
