Remember that all learners benefit from multiple exposures to the material you're teaching.
So in addition to your own presentation, and their study of the textbook, assign additional content available in different formats. Let students review a different lecture as a Podcast or as a video tutorial to give them a different slant on the material...before they come to your class, or afterward!
