Create Your Wiki Blog for Dummies

In just two easy steps outlined below, you will be well on your way to a world of wonder in the field of documenting your thoughts, your research, and your ideas, and sharing all this with others while getting the grade you want in the How to Influence Policy course. Just follow the simple instructions below.
Act now and receive absolutely nothing return! It's just that simple!

Step One: Create Your Blog


1. Make sure you are signed in. Click Sign in and sign in.
2. Click on the word/link "Blog" in the selection list on the left of the page (just under "Home").
3. Type in your blog name (BLOG NAME MUST CONTAIN YOUR FIRST NAME) in the field labeled: Name
4. Below the name, choose/click "Put page under Blogs".
5. Click on "Create Page."

Congratulations. You now have a blog page. But wait! There's more! (You are not done...)

STEP TWO: Add a link to your blog under the "Blogs" heading.


(IMPORTANT: Before you can complete this step, you must first create your blog page. See Step One above.)

1. Make sure you are signed in. Click Sign in and sign in.
2. Click on the word/link "Blog" in the selection list on the left of the page (just under "Home").
3. Click on "Edit page," on the upper right side of the screen.
4. Type the name of your blog. The cursor should automatically be in the text area. Please type a carriage return (Enter key) or two before you begin typing. Please do not alter or erase any information that is already there.
5. Highlight the name you just typed (click/drag or double-click the name you just typed).
6. Click on Link in the tools bar above.
7. Go to Blogs [+] and click on your blog name that you created in Step One.
8. Click Ok at the bottom of the Create Link page. It takes you back to the Blog Page.
9. Click on Save at the top of the Blog Page.

Congratulations! Now you are done setting up your blog and can begin doing some real work...
