Helping students develop a passion for science and expressing curiosity about the world around them

Celebrate our young scientists at Family Science Night (K-5)!  Highlights include student projects at the science fair, hands-on interactive stations led by Mad Science and parent volunteers, demonstrations from M-A students and teachers, and the Foothills College Physics department!  Visitors will build roller coasters, construct catapults, blow bubbles and have lots of fun exploring the many stations set up in and around the courtyard.

Need a bite to eat?  Pizza will be available for purchase by the slice.  Please bring your own re-useable water bottle for the drinking fountains

Participants    Sign Up Here!

Come up with a question that you can test or create an informational poster on a scientific topic.

Both types of projects are welcome!

The Encinal Science Fair is not a competition.  Students will have the opportunity to present their projects 1:1 to a mentor so they can show off their project and receive feedback and a medal.  Students will come to the large multi at their allotted time (between 5-6 pm) to speak with a designated mentor.  Once mentoring is complete, the projects will be open for everyone to view.  General science festival will take place in the courtyard during and after mentoring, 5-7 pm.

Volunteers   Sign up here!

Family Science Night is not possible without the support of our volunteers.
