The aim of this one-day workshop is to introduce the emulation technology to researchers and practitioners working with complex computer models. Although the applications will primarily be from the field of infectious disease epidemiology, the methods and techniques are applicable to models from other fields as well.
The workshop will take place at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, on Monday 17th of February. It's free but registration is required as the number of places are limited to 25.
The workshop will be split between lectures in the morning and tutorials in the afternoon. Participants are expected to bring their own laptop and to have the tutorial software installed.
