Call for Applications

Cohorts

THELXINOE grants will be offered in 3 cohorts. Grants of all types (doctorate, postdoc, staff) may be offered in all cohorts. Applicants may apply for grants in all cohorts. After each call, all applications are removed (i.e. applications submitted under call "x" are NOT kept under call "x+1"). Applicants interested in applying under different calls must submit a brand new application for each call. Applicants may be awarded one grant only during the project's life.

For instance, PHD/POSTDOC grants with a duration of 10 months should NOT start later than 15/09/2016, so that the grant end date would be at the latest 14/07/2017 (which is the latest date for grants to be fully implemented and completed).
  • IMPORTANT NOTICE: “Staff” grants are NOT offered under the current call for applications.
  • IMPORTANT NOTICE: "Postdoc-TG2" grants are now available. A maximum of 2 EU-TG2 Postdoc grants and 2 TC-TG2 Postdoc grants are now offered. Instructions & Required Supporting Documents

Applicants are encouraged to find a potential "tutor"/"supervisor" at the host university/ies of choice. As a first step, applicants are advised to contact the Academic Coordinator [AC] at the host HEI(s) of interest (see contact information on: "Partners" / "Full Partners" / "Info" / "Academic Coordination"). The AC will in turn guide applicants in finding the most suitable "tutor"/"supervisor" at the host HEI. It is essential that all enquiries regarding a specific host HEI are received by the corresponding AC, who is responsible for managing applications at the local institutional level and distributing the applications amongst local "tutors"/"supervisors".

Applicants are advised not to mass-mail when finding a potential "tutor"/"supervisor" (the AC will guide applicants in finding the most suitable "tutor"/"supervisor"). When contacting the AC, applicants should clearly indicate the topic of their "research plan" or "work plan" and providing a summary of such, so that the most suitable "tutor"/"supervisor" can easily be found.  Further instructions are available on the application form itself.
