This web page provides supplemental resources for professors and students using Employment Discrimination: A Context and Practice Casebook  by Susan Grover, Sandra F. Sperino, and Jarod S. Gonzalez.  The second edition of the book is now available and ready for use beginning in the spring semester of 2014.  With the second edition, this casebook will be available in an electronic format, as well as paper format.
This book is part of the Context and Practice (“CAP”) series, which is designed to integrate doctrine, theory and skills.  The book combines traditional methodologies with an active learning approach.  It not only focuses on legal reading and analysis, but also challenges students to conceptualize legal theory and understand the lawyer’s role as a legal problem solver.  Each chapter contains Exercises designed to develop these skills and abilities.  The book ends with a Capstone Experience, which provides students an opportunity to combine the theoretical, doctrinal, historical and practical knowledge they have gained through the course and to use that knowledge to resolve real world problems.
