Emmanuel Azom

About me

I am a PhD student in the Economics section of Cardiff Business School. My research interests described broadly are international macroeconomics, applied macroeconomics, real business cycle models and dynamic stochastic general equilibrium models.

My PhD thesis is about modelling the economy of Kuwait with particular interest on the dynamic impact of oil productivity shocks on the macroeconomic aggregates in the economy.

I have been a teaching assistant at Cardiff Business School for 5 years where I have gained reasonable experience teaching macro analysis, quantitative methods, financial economics, economics of banking and international banking.

I am keen to take up more opportunities and gain reasonable experience in the field.
