I graduated with a PhD from theĀ  Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville in November 2017. My work addresses the biodiversity and evolution of gilled fungi. I have used Cortinarius fungi to show how mycorrhizal fungi are dispersed around the world, and how frequently they are dispersed among different means. I have investigated the effect that climate has on the evolution of sequestrate (truffle-like) fungi.
