My work addresses the biodiversity and evolution of gilled fungi. I have used Cortinarius fungi to show how mycorrhizal fungi are dispersed around the world, how frequently they are dispersed and by which means. I have investigated the effect that climate has on the evolution of sequestrate (truffle-like) fungi.
