            Certificate I: Sheridan Teaching Seminar (9/2009 – 11/2010)

Year-long lecture and workshop series focused on reflective teaching practices, development of course goals and syllabi, awareness of diverse learning styles, creation of constructive assessments, and effective communication strategies

            Certificate III: Professional Development Seminar (9/2011 – 5/2012)

Year-long seminar focused on articulating teaching and research interests by designing a portfolio that demonstrates the application of a teaching philosophy, effectiveness as an instructor, and reflective teaching practice.

            Certificate IV: Teaching Consultant Program (9/2011 – 5/2012)

Year-long program focused on providing peer observation and feedback as Teaching Consultants. Teaching Consultants observe, film, and facilitate a discussion with feedback to teaching assistants from across academic divisions regarding their teaching.
