A Crowded Desktop
Full Multi-monitor and Touchscreen Support.   Compatible with Windows 10, Windows 8.1 and Windows 8 .

Version available for Windows 7.

What with better multi-tasking you run more desktop apps at once.  Add to this your Windows Store apps, and your desktop, like the one at left, is more crowded than ever. Finding the window you need, when you need it, can be tricky.

It is not obvious at first glance, but the desktop shown is running 11 apps on the desktop and 9 full-screen Windows Store ("Modern") Apps.

Windows gives you two ways to find what you want: use the taskbar or press ALT/TAB (left, below) or (in Windows 10) activate TaskView (right, below).   Neither organizes a large number of thumbnails particularly well.

Alt/Tab not organized Taskbar too small

Emcee gives you a better way: one customizable keystroke or hot-corner gesture, or a tap on an icon brings up live thumbnail views of all your apps, both desktop and Windows Store, in one convenient, easy to manage view.
