Ely Astronomy Club

A club in Ely, Cambridgeshire, UK for all those interested in Astronomy.

Regular meetings, and observing evenings. The aim of the club is to be informal, friendly and exciting. Beginners and families are welcome. Join us and journey to the stars!

(My own background is as a scientist and engineer with a passion for amateur astronomy. I have worked in schools as a volunteer promoting an interest in science, and am keen to share astronomy.)

The club is on its little summer break and we will return in September. Meanwhile, happy summer and clear skies to all.

The Vernon Cross Meeting Room is part of a self-contained wing at the back of the museum. The address is: The Old Gaol, Market Street, Ely, CB7 4LS.
Note: the meeting room has it own entrance, at the back of the museum. The museum itself will be locked at night.

The museum is at the top of Market Street, on the corner with Lynn Road. The council car park, next to the museum and meeting room entrance, should be available for public use in the evening. The St Mary's St. and Nutholt Lane public car parks are nearby.
