Maple Nut Granola


1 cup maple syrup

3 tbsp olive oil

1 tsp vanilla

3 cups old fashioned oats

1/2 cup chopped hazelnuts

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

1/2 cup slivered almonds

2 tsp cinnamon

1/2 tsp sea salt


Preheat oven to 325.

In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the maple syrup and the olive oil. Bring to a boil then from the heat. Stir in the vanilla and salt.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the oats, sunflower seeds, almonds and cinnamon. Pour the hot syrup blend over the stir well until combined. Spread out on a large parchment paper-lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Let granola cool before transferring to mason jars or tupperware for storing.
