Chocolate Dipped Oranges


1 large naval orange, peeled and divided into segments

2 cups dark chocolate chips

1 tsp vegetable oil

flaky sea salt {optional}


In a double boiler or glass bowl in the microwave, melt the chocolate chips. If you're using the microwave, zap at 30 second intervals, stirring in between, until smooth and melted. Then, stir in the vegetable oil and continue mixing until smooth and combined.

Dip orange segments into the melted chocolate halfway then lay on parchment paper to cool. Sprinkle with sea salt if you like.

Let chocolate dipped oranges set in the fridge for 1 hour until chocolate is hard. Enjoy!
