Background - Norman Herr is a professor of science and computer education at California State Univesity, Northridge. He earned his doctorate from the University of California, Los Angeles, his master of science degree from the University of California, Davis, and his bachelor of science degree from the University of California, Irvine. Dr. Herr has taught 25 science and technology related courses at UCDavis, Glendale College, Maranatha High School, and CSUN.
Research Interests - Development of secondary science curricular materials, Technology & science education.

Interests & Hobbies - I am an avid outdoorsman and enjoy backpacking, cross-country skiing, alpine skiing, mountain climbing, and mountain biking. My wife and I have three children who are attending UCLA and UCSB. I serve as an elder at Valley Presbyterian Church where I serve as an elder and work high school students.
