Short Bio

I am a Senior Scientist in the Engineering and Applied Sciences (EAS) division at the RAND Corporation in Arlington, VA leading projects at the intersection of AI, cybersecurity and government. Prior to that, I was an Associate Professor at the United States Military Academy and simultaneously a Senior Research Scientist at the Army Cyber Institute in West Point, NY . Before that, I was a Research Scientist in the Computing and Communications Theory Group at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Gaithersburg, MD. I received my PhD in mathematics from George Mason University, where I worked under the supervision of Dr. James F. Lawrence.
