Choosito! search and learn is an innovative research tool that helps educators and students find, create, and share quality resources on the web. The core of the Choosito technology is linguistic processing for content curation. In Choosito! Web you can filter in web sites to match the reading ability of your students and to target the research theme of the activity, In the Questbook, you can find, create, and assign inquiry oriented activities aligned with core standards. While Choosito currently runs for English. You can, still, use the Questbook, to create language quests for your classes, Use the label "language learning" when you publish a new quest.
Go to www.choosito.com
Sign-in with the username and passwords that we will give you. If you don't have one, sign-up and send a request to support@choosito.com to give you a teacher account.
Once you are signed-in, click on click on "Questbook".
To browse activities, use the filters on the left-hand side, or search with a keyword (at the top, on the right).
To create a new activity, click on "myQuests", and, then, "Create new quest".
To add a public activity to "myQuests", click on the icon next to the title of the quest (mouse over to see the tooltip).
To edit a quest, go to "myQuests", click on the title of the quest you want to edit, and then click on the "edit" icon, next to the title.
Be sure to explore the "file cabinet" for uploading files from your computer, the "teacher page" to make notes for other teachers to see.
