I'm a graduate student in the philosophy department at The University of Sydney.  I'm supervised by Paul Griffiths and Dominic Murphy.  My main research interests are moral psychology, the philosophy of psychology and Buddhist philosophy.

My dissertation develops a theoretical framework which explains how emotional dispositions are constructed over phylogenetic and ontogenetic time.  I take a broadly naturalistic approach which draws on evolutionary theory, neuroscience and psychology.

In the future, I hope to use this framework to explain how emotional dispositions influence our capacity for moral and rational behaviour.
