PEAR Park Pilots
Welcome to the PEAR Park Pilots model aircraft club, established in Leesburg, Florida in October 2007, for the purpose of sharing the enjoyment of building and flying radio-controlled (R/C) electric model aircraft. Club membership is open to everyone interested in model aircraft. We offer beginners our assistance in learning the basics of R/C flight and welcome the knowledge experienced modelers bring to our club.
The club meets at the Royal Highlands recreation center at 9:00 AM on the second Saturday of each month except for June, July and August, when meetings are suspended. We fly electric models at the Eagles field Monday through Saturday mornings beginning around 7:30am and ending by 10:00am or earlier.  We fly indoors at the Highland Lakes Arena on Saturday mornings beginning at 10:00am and ending at noon and at the Royal Highlands Great Hall on Sunday mornings beginning at 9:00am and ending at 11:00am.  We usually go for coffee or breakfast at a local restaurant after outdoor flying.

Club members enjoy carpooling to hobby shops, trips to fly-ins and model aircraft shows, and participating in hands-on workshops. You are invited to join us, whether new to radio-controlled aircraft or experienced modeler.

An application form to join the club can be downloaded.   See a video of the Eagles Field.

Our club communications is through this website, individual emails and the Google Group: pppilots@googlegroups.com.  You will automatically be subscribed to the pppilots@googlegroups.com when you join the club.
