From the airport:

Sydney Airport is located 9km (6 miles) south of Sydney's city centre.

taxi cab costs around $30-60 from the airport to the university campus, taking about 20-30 minutes. Sydney is serviced by several taxi companies located outside each of the terminals. This online taxi fare calculator can provide you with an estimate for your chosen journey. Please note, a $3.50 toll is charged by Sydney Airport, payable by all passengers taking a taxi from any of the Airport's taxi ranks. Silver Service Taxi is Tel: 133 100. The airport train from the Domestic and the International Airport terminals costs around $15.60 single to downtown city, taking about 13 minutes. To connect to the university, take the Airport and East Hills Line train a few stops to Central Station, then take the connecting Northern Line train one stop to Redfern station, 10 minutes walk away from the department.  Visit www.131500.com.au for the latest fare and timetable information. By train
Catch a train to Redfern train station and then take a 10-minute walk to the main campus. 

By bus from the City
For stops on Parramatta Road (closest to the Quadrangle) catch routes 412, 413, 435, 436, 437, 438, 440, 461, 480 and M10 from George Street or Railway Square.

For stops on City Road (closest to Darlington Campus) catch routes 422, 423, 426, 428 from Castlereagh Street or Railway Square.

By bus – cross routes
Route 370 runs between Coogee and Leichhardt. Alight on City Rd for Sydney University.
Route 352 runs between Bondi Junction and Marrickville. Alight on City Rd for Sydney University.
Route M30 runs between Mosman, George St in the city and Sydenham. Alight on City Rd for Sydney University.

Casual parking on Camperdown campuses

People wanting to park in the University, who do not have a permit, may do so by obtaining a ticket from the Pay and Display machines located around the campus. 

Staff, students, and visiting fellows can also apply for a new parking permit online.
