I'm a philosopher, specialising in philosophy of
physics and philosophy of science. I'm currently a Leverhulme Early Career Fellow in the philosophy department at King's College London, where
I'll be taking up a permanent lectureship in 2014.

Much of my research involves the philosophical foundations of spacetime theories, but my work also makes contact with questions in mainstream philosophy of science and metaphysics. At the moment, I'm particularly interested in the kinds of explanations offered by geometrical theories, inter-theoretic relations in physics, and in making sense of theories in which spacetime seems to be 'emergent'.
