Research projects

Upright photo (2011 ~ 2012)

  • Researched on core algorithms of upright photo, including robust single image camera calibration and automatic adjustment system.
  • Worked as a tech transfer intern at Adobe and developed Upright for Adobe Lightroom.

Fast image stylization for mobile applications (2010 ~ 2011)

  • Developed and implemented the fast image stylization algorithm of the photo enhancement application (Photo4Phone by Linkgenesis Inc.).
  • The algorithm had also been used by several web and mobile services (GirlFLens by Olawork Inc. and Olympus photo printing service).

Advanced Police Safety System Development (2009 ~ 2010) 

  • Developed and implemented image noise removal algorithms of the system.

3DEclipse, OpenGL-ES based mobile graphics library (2005 ~ 2006)

  • Developed core rendering part of the library based on JSR-184 mobile 3D graphics api.
