ELC is an honorary society whose purpose is to distinguish those students and alumni in Engineering who have shown exceptional leadership ability or potential, exemplary character, and endeavor to foster the spirit of unity among leaders and pride in the engineering profession. In addition to recognition and unification of young leaders, ELC attempts to promote the general welfare of the societies in the College of Engineering.

At the end of each fall and spring semester, emerging leaders are encouraged to submit an application for membership. New members are chosen by the current members, and are inducted at an end-of-semester banquet.
Spring 2015 ELC Membership Applications are now open! Applications and resumes are due by April 15th.
