Next Meeting: Monday Oct 1 at 5:30 pm ~ Admin Conference Room

The Parent Club is an organization consisting of EHS parents and faculty members that strives to:
  • Provide service to Escondido High School
  • Promote cooperative effort between home and school
  • Help provide good communication among District Administration, Escondido High School staff, students, parents, and community
  • Support academic excellence at Escondido High School
The Parent Club usually meets the first Monday of each month, with a few exceptions due to holidays (for specific dates, choose the calendar at left) beginning  at 5:30 PM in the Administration Building Conference Room. EHS Principal, Mr. Rich Watkins, attends the first half-hour of each meeting to discuss and answer parents' questions. All parents and staff are welcome to attend.

The Parent Club awards scholarships to graduating seniors based on scholastic merit, community involvement and financial need.  We were proud to award six scholarships for the 2011-2012 school year.  Our sole scholarship fundraising is accomplished by operating the Cougar Snack Bar in the Gymnasium foyer.  The Cougar Snack Bar is operated with parent volunteers who work Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays at 1:45-3:15 p.m.   Please email us if you can help with inventory shopping or working the snack bar.
Other opportunities for parents to support EHS include: donations and help with the annual Staff Appreciation Luncheon held in May, and support to staff and administration as needed.

To join, simply download the membership application, print it out, and follow the directions on the application to become a member.

If you have any further questions about the Parent Club, please feel free to contact club President, Bob Nanz . Thank you for your interest in the Parent Club!
