CRS - What is it?

In the hospitality industry CRS is the acronym for 'central reservation system; that is a computerized system that stores and distributes information of a hotel, resort, or other lodging facilities. Today's modern CRS communicates with other hotel systems such as individual property management systems (PMS), global distribution systems (GDS), Web Booking Engine and many more.  These communication applications are referred as interfaces (click here to view short video explaining interfaces).

CRS is an important tool for hotel management to manage their marketing and sales from all channels online and offline.
