I am an Assistant Professor of Philosophy at the University of Victoria.

My philosophical research spans issues at the intersection of philosophy of science, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of language. More specifically, I am interested in how contradictory scientific theories and models can be used to study complex phenomena in science, and how these different models can contribute to the same scientific explanations. I’m also interested in how this can re-shape our understanding of traditional questions in the philosophy of mind, including questions regarding how we classify cognitive phenomena, the nature of mental content, and the metaphysics of intentionality.
