Mission Statement
It is the mission of the East Grand Forks Arts and Crafts Council to promote original art and crafts work in the East Grand Forks area, to give recognition to and, thereby, preserve the ethnic folk art and crafts that reflect the heritage of the Red River Valley, to bring professional artists and crafts people to East Grand Forks to teach and demonstrate their art or craft, to give art scholarships to talented students, to provide instruction in art and crafts to young people, to encourage and support creativity in all art forms.
