Teachers College projects

I have been fortunate to work on several projects during my Masters studies at Teachers College, Columbia University. Most of my projects are group collaborations with fellow classmates in my Masters TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages) program.
  • Spring 2010:
The class 'Internet and Language Teaching', also offered by Prof. Carolin Fuchs at

Teachers
College, Columbia, offered another opportunity to collaborate on a technology group project

using culture as the overall theme. Fellow students in the
'Internet and Language Teaching'

class took on the role of students involved in the interactive project.

Topics of cultural interest included:

  • Dance
  • Family Values
  • Food
  • Music
  • National Holidays
  • Weddings/ Marriages

          • Fall 2009:
In the Classroom Practices course offered by Professor Carolin Fuchs at Teachers College,

Columbia, my group and I created a project model involving Technology in Teacher

Training

We created a model for Teacher Training, specifically focusing on Classroom

Management,
using a social network to link the 5 countries represented by the students in

the project group: Cyprus, Pakistan, South Africa, Taiwan and Japan.
